In order to respond to your request for a bid on a police or emergency vehicle,
I must have a written request from your agency.
The reason that the request needs to be written is that General Motors
requires that I send a copy of the request to the General Motors Bid Center
for fleet account verification, before I respond to a bid.
This is also the only way that I can request government bid assistance
and receive price protection on the price I quote your agency.
This request should be on one of your agency's bid request form, or on your agency's letterhead.
The following information is needed to be included in the bid request:
